MicroSale works with any size rear display – images can be saved in MicroSale that cycles through ads. When modifiers are entered, the menu can call upon a specific image to appear on the display.
- Images are saved in the OCD Image subfolder located within the Micro$ale directory. If an OCD Image folder does not exist, you can create one.
- Save the images in bmp or jpeg format. The size of the image depends on the resolution of the screen; however, the image will stretch to fit.
- To enable the customer display on the hardware, go to Windows > Graphic Properties > Basic Mode > Multiple Displays > Change mode to Extended Desktop
- In MicroSale, go to Managers Menu > Register Setup > Terminal Configuration > Register Options > Quick Service > under Customer Display Options > select Turn on customer display > Save

This option enables the customer facing display for order review and marketing images. 1.In Windows the customer facing monitor needs to be set to the secondary monitor and as an "extension" of the main desktop. 2. To add the marketing images copy any *.bmp or *.jpg images to the "C:\Program Files\Micro$ale\OCD Image directory"; or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Micro$ale\OCD Image directory". |

This option prevents the marketing images from appearing on the customer display during a transaction. |

Turn off the scroller on customer display |
This disables the scroll bar from showing on the customer display. The scroll bar text is pulled directly from the "Daily Special" message which can be created in the Managers Menu > Messages Menu > Daily Specials. |
Cycling images based on menu items entered:
To set modifier groups to call a specific image, go to Managers Menu > Menu Maintenance > Menu Modifiers > Select a modifier group > Under Rear Display, type in the image name such as Image.bmp > Save.
