- If any item has more than one modifier group immediately prompting, you will see ‘tabs’ on the top of the modifier screen. The benefit of this is to make it easier on staff to see how many modifier groups they must go through as well as allows them to jump around modifier groups. This feature is on the modifier setup screen using the option “enable modifier tabs”.
Beverages
- These are all simplistic menu items without modifiers; Beer and Wine are available through this screen
Apps | Lighter Side
- Appetizers prompt a dip choice; the first dip is free but you can select additional dressings that automatically charge $.50 (select Done to exit). The dip sauces are using the “Upick” feature, this means the user gets 1 free choice and all additional choices charge. This is setup in the modifier setup area.
- You can further modify any item by selecting Modify Item. All food items (with the exception of salads) are connected to the same modifier group called “Food Mods All”
- Salads prompt a dressing first; this is using the same “Upick” feature, where the user gets 1 free choice. Select Modify Item to further modify the item.

- Items are available until 1:08pm (if this should be at 1pm sharp, let me know). I set it at 1:08 to give servers time to get the orders in.
- Breakfast items can be further modified with “Modify Item”. The breakfast items are sharing the “Breakfast Mods” modifier group.
- For egg prep, I have OE, OM, OH, Poached, Scrambled, Scramb Soft, Scramb Hard, and Add Cheese. After selected how the eggs should be prepped, Add Cheese will go under the prep choice for $.50. If this should be changed, let me know.

Mixed Drinks
- To make it easier to find the 100+ items, the Mixed Drinks category is broken down into A-C, D-M, and N-Z

Vodka, Scotch, Gin | Rum, Cognac, Whiskey
- All items prompt Size/Mixers
Retail
- Shirts prompt size and color.
- The size is using the modifier function of “PreFix” which inserts the size in front of the item name. The color is using the function “Suffix” inserting the color to the end of the item name. The benefit of this programming is to limit the number of buttons on the screen and properly account for exact retail items sold. For example on reports, you will see “XL Taco Tank Blue”
