Supported: Version 10.0.1178This new version tags which menu items are assigned to a global timed event.
What is a global timed event?
This is an automated price adjustment that activates during assigned times or days (such as a “Weekday Happy Hour” or “Weekend Liquor Price Increase”.
Unless you're using a blanket increase/decrease in price across all items within a department group, Global Timed Events are rarely used.
Why this matters
Since Global Timed Events are assigned to departments rather than individual items, some may be confused as to why items are shifting prices.
Users can now quickly and easily identify which items are using a global timed event and understand why their prices may be shifting at certain times throughout the day or week.
