Clearent Setup (Standard Processing, Version 9.0.)

To use the Clearent integration you will need to be running MicroSale Version 9.0.296 or higher.

  1. Provision site license for Clearent direct integration.
  2. Go to Manager’s Menu > Register Setup > Credit Card Setup.
  3. Click the drop-down menu next to “Primary Host Name” and select Clearent from the list. (Note: if Clearent does not appear in list then license has not been updated or provisioned for Clearent)
  4. Copy Primary Host Name “Clearent” and paste into Secondary Host Name field.
  5. In both Merchant ID fields enter in site specific 12 digit Merchant ID number provided by Clearent.
  6. In both Terminal Id fields enter in 8 digit Terminal Id.
  7. In the Https: field type one of the following URLs:
  8. https://gateway.clearent.net/rest/v1/
  9. https://gateway.clearent.net/rest/v2/batches/open
  10. In the Key field type in the 32 bit key provided by Clearent.
  11. Click “Save Credit Card Setup” when finished.
  12. Repeat steps 2-11 on each register using Clearent.
