What's New (Highlights)
You can now text your customers when their order is ready.
MicroSale’s new integration to Twilio, a SMS texting service, allows restaurants to text customers through the POS system when their to-go order is ready. When the order is bagged and ready, the staff member selects “Text Customer” > an automated “Your Order is Ready” text sends to the customer.
New Additions
- You can now text customers when their pickup order is ready - (requires texting subscription)
- Added “Close House Account” Paid Out; this was designed for employees or customers that use prepaid accounts who would like to close the account and collect the remaining balance. “Close House Account” allows you to close the account and pays out the balance as a Paid Out
- You can create this in the Paid Out setup area and link the paid out to an house account
- A quantity number is now added in front of modifier names when using Quantity with menu items and modifier printer routing. For example, if you ring in ‘Quantity 2’ > Cheeseburger > Fries, and the fries route off to a specific printer, it now appears as (2) Fries. Previously, only ‘Fries’ as a singular item was appearing on the kitchen video/ticket.
Enhancements/Changes
- Changed auto log off with ‘View All Checks’ set to access level of 1
- Set limit on MSale giftcard card data length to more that 3 characters
- Added necessary function when using Datacap and RapidConnect processing; Added to functions.ini [Credit Card] Is RapidConnect= (for Datacap) When using the Hosted Solution of Datacap and procecssing through RapidConnect, the batch was not clearing out of MicroSale
Squashed Bugs
- Fixed and rebuilt install file: previously missing an OCX file
- Fixed bug with ‘Hold Charge Card’ from server menu: previously was allowing you to add more than 1 card to the account
- Fixed Undo Split check with pay at the table check total
- Fixed time clock disabled and terminal lock
- Fixed Register Group options by job codes
- Fix bug with multi-label and modifier quantity
- Fixed object error with half and half with price reduction set to something other than 0
- Fixed EBT reporting issue on balance sheet
