How do I get the update?
Please contact your MicroSale representative to update your system. If you are already on Version 10, updates within the version are no charge. If you are on Version 9 or earlier versions of software, your representative will provide a quote.

Added:
- Successfully completed the on-the-fly integration with Cheftab Kitchen Video
Printers connected to this functionality should be named "ChefTab" for proper functioning.
- Improved the functionality of on-the-fly video integration with the Cheftab, especially when dealing with reopened orders.
Audits and Cash Drawers
- Added option to disable the Cash button on order screen in quick bar mode.
- Added a date range selection in the Cashier Audit/Drawer Deposit Section(allowing you to go back and record forgotten cash deposits). **NOTE** While you can edit the cash deposit for the day, this feature is used for your records only.
- Introduced a new feature to enable a no-print option for the cashier station, allowing for server audits to be printed only and keeping the cashier audits digital.
- Backend performance update, speeding up closing cashier audits
- Added Table name to server audit close with closed check printout.
- Payroll Export Modified "Company ID" for improved compatibility with payroll exports.
Order Screen & Check Management
- 24-hour Mode and auto-close: When open checks are automatically suspended during the auto-close in 24-hour mode, you can now use this feature with pre-auth and tabs that have credit cards attached.
- Added functionality to adjust inventory directly from a function button on the order screen
- Added check review option to reopen a check
- Added pick up number by terminal or register group: This new feature allows for the assignment of pick-up numbers based on either the terminal or register group, providing more flexibility and organization options.
- Added customer name to lookup for find check with check number
- Added "Start tab with hold charge card" with the tablet interface
- Added option to print the text, "gratuity included" on credit card slip (in addition to the customer receipt) for further clarity.
- Added prompt to confirm changing a payment on pre-auth tabs with an attached credit card to avoid inadvertently voiding the incorrect payment option
Receipts and Printer Settings
- Added Expanded QR Code for receipts
- Added Text Receipts for tablets with table screens (through Twilio integration module)
Miscellaneous Additions
- Added "Printing Options", "Send Refund To Remote", "Add The Printer Name Here" as miscellaneous functions: These additions provide more flexibility and customization options for printing and refund processes in the system.
- Added functionality to display the name and address information in the search list for the "House Account" and "Search By Address" options in the ini function.
- Added an optional setting for 'Assign Driver Access': This new feature allows only the current driver to assign orders.
- Improved "Access Orders" from the ID Screen; now only shows Unassigned Deliveries to ensure orders do not get missed
- Added a schedule enforcement to the in-house MicroSale Scheduler program; This addition ensures that an employee cannot be inadvertently scheduled
Squashed Bugs
- Resolved an issue in the Armor Inventory integration where MicroSale/Armor was unable to locate specific data files after a weekly closeout in the POS.
- Fixed Balance Due on phone order using preauth: Previously, when items were added to the check later, the balance due was not correctly calculating
- Fixed Datacap surcharge program (Hosted only): There was an issue with the Datacap surcharge program in the hosted version of the system, but it has now been fixed.
- Fixed issue with "Close All" with Phone Orders and cash discounting calculations
- Corrections to prepaid tenders for delivery
- Fixed the cash discount calculation for split checks with tax credits.
- Fixed a bug where the special tax was not properly credited for cash tenders with cash discounts.
- Fixed pricing inconsistencies related to dual pricing and repeated items.
- Resolved problems with discounts applying to departments and type 2 barcodes.
- Corrected release group audit: A correction has been implemented for the release group audit, improving accuracy and reliability.
- Fixed void for prepaid delivery orders: Previously, prepaid payments for delivery orders were not being properly voided.
- Fixed have one on me: The "have one on me" option will now be printed on the receipt, ensuring accurate coupon tracking.
- Fixed recall for extra line for receipt: Previously, an extra line added to the receipt was not being properly recalled.
