Without a static IP address, the device's IP can unexpectedly change and lose connection to the MicroSale system.
On each device, go to:
- Menu
- Communications > Enter the Password
- Main Communication > Set it to LAN
- LAN Parameters
- LAN Type > Set to Static
- Enter all IP Address required for STATIC IP: IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway IP, and DNS IP
After you receive the Static IP, add it to MicroSale:
Managers Menu> Register Setup> Terminal Configuration> Credit Card Setup> PAX
