How to use Memberships
-
Before an order can be entered in the POS, the membership card or number must be entered.
- Either swipe the membership card, enter the membership number (or ID), or use Search All to find the member who may have forgotten their credentials.
Alternatively, hitting "Done" without entering any letters or numbers displays a list of all accounts in the system.
- After the member information is entered, it links to a check #, tab, or table (depending on how the check was initialized).
- When its time to settle the check, tap on Pay Order and tap the payment type (tender type) labeled House Account.
How to change the membership account before payment:
If necessary, tapping the "Change Member" button at the top left of the screen will allow you to input an alternate account for charging.
Note: When Memberships are enabled, all ordering is restricted to members-only.

Part 01Configuring Terminal Settings
Managers Menu -> Register Setup -> Terminal Configuration -> Register Options -> Terminal Setup
- Under Membership Settings, enable Member Account Required
With this enabled, the POS system is closed for non-members. Only active members can purchase items through the POS system. This option also enables a search; an employee can search to find the customer’s membership information by name. - Enable Account Verification:
This option provides access to verify a membership from the ID screen or create a new account - Optionally, you can disable the hand-key name search and force the use of the member's swipe card or member number.
This provides the most security, but may cause member dissatisfaction if the card and/or number is forgotten. To use this option, enable Member Account by Number.
