Using Reservations
- Select Reservations (from the ID Screen)
- Choose the appropriate date for the reservation using the calendar. The date populates in the blue guest information area
- Touch in each box to add guest information. You’ll be prompted to enter the information using an onscreen keyboard. Save when completed. After the guest information is saved, it will be added to the reservation list at the bottom of the screen in the spreadsheet. Use the calendar to view the reservations by day.

The phone number is not used in MicroSale. It is only added in case you need to contact the customer directly
Reserving an Entire Section
You can reserve an entire section of your restaurant using Reserve Section. This will block out an entire section (sections of your table layout; you may have a “Dining Room”, “Patio”, “Party Room”, etc).
Finding a Reservation
Press the Reservations button on the ID screen. The reservations will appear in the fields alphabetically. To find a specific person's reservation, select Find Reservation button and type in the party's name.
Canceling a Reservation
On the reservations screen, find the reservation that needs to be canceled. Touch anywhere in that row (time, guests, name, etc). You should see the reservation details in the top blue box when selected. Select Cancel Reservation. Confirm the cancellation when prompted.
Printing Reservations
Select Print Reservation Sheet. This will print all reservations for the current day and future days.
Assigning a Preorder to a Reservation
- From the phone management screen, select the order.
- To access a reservation order and transfer to a server in the dining room, touch the order (except the name) and select the employee's name who will be taking over the reservation
- If additional items are to be added to the order, they may be added at this time. The reservation order becomes a tab for the assigned server.
Setting your system to accept reservations
The Reservations option is set by individual terminal. You will need to enable this option on each terminal that needs to use this feature.
