The "Combo Menu Items" feature streamlines the ordering process by linking menu items together. When one item is selected, others automatically follow, ensuring a seamless ordering experience.
This feature is commonly used to include complimentary items, like biscuits, with main items. For example, you can configure it so that every meal automatically includes a free biscuit, ensuring customers receive their complete order.
How to Use:
- Go to Managers Menu > Menu Maintenance > Combo Menu
- Select the dropdown menu and choose a menu item as the "line leader", all attached items will follow immediately after the line leader item and associated modifiers are selected.
- In the Menu Items box, choose a menu item as the "line leader". Attached items will follow immediately after the line leader item and associated modifiers are selected.
- If the Combo Name, or "Line Leader", does not have a price associated with it (as indicated by the absence of price in Menu Items and Pricing Regular Price), the Combo Name will be listed separately on the virtual check, along with individual prices for each connected menu item.
- This is helpful for ringing in multiple items with 1 tap, such as "Party Package #1". When the party package is entered, a LG Pizza, a 2-Liter, 2-hour game play, and dessert automatically populate with their individual prices.
- If the Combo Name, or "Line Leader", has a price attached to it, all menu items linked to that price will be displayed together.
- If the Combo requires a specific discount, you can attach it here
Remember, this feature simplifies the ordering process by automatically including additional menu items when a particular item is selected.

Version 2:
Auto-insert Side
Side items, such as biscuits, that are included in a meal, are automatically added and appended to the bottom of an entered meal or menu item. This ensures customers receive the complementary side items, automates the process so that staff does not have to ring it in, and it properly accounts in inventory.
Usage:
- Side items like biscuits are programmed as menu items without prices and are not directly accessible from the order screen.
- Meals, excluding sandwiches, are automatically appended with the specified side item (e.g., “1 Biscuit”) at the end of the menu item.
To remove or delete the side item, simply tap "Delete Item" and then select the specific side item (e.g., "1 Biscuit") on the virtual check.
Setup:
- Side items are managed through the system's menu maintenance feature. They are typically saved in the "Sides" category and attached to meals or combos through the Combo Menu in the management settings. Access this by navigating to the Managers Menu > Menu Maintenance > Combo Menu.
This feature enhances operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by automating the inclusion of side items with relevant menu selections.
