The drink recipe feature is used to reference how a drink is made. Recipes can be added or edited in the Manager Menu > Menu Maintenance > Menu Items and Pricing screen.

How it works:
- On the order screen, select Show Recipe then select a drink button
- If a recipe file is attached to the item, the recipe prompts in a window. You can touch anywhere in the window to print the recipe on the receipt printer or select Exit to close the window.
How to add a drink recipe
- Go to Manager Menu > Menu Maintenance > Menu Items and Pricing
- Create a new item or select the dropdown to select a saved menu item
- Select the Recipe/Procedure button on the bottom of the screen
- Add the recipe, select Done
- Then select Save on the Menu Items and Pricing screen before exiting
WARNING!:
When you are building drink recipes, do not skip lines. When the software hits a blank line in the recipe file, it stops reading; the software will not read any instruction past a skipped line.

If the software is being upgraded to Version 10, you must complete the following import to migrate existing recipes.
Importing recipes after upgrading to Version 10
If you are upgrading and the menu uses drink recipes, you must use the Import Recipes function to reconnect the recipes to the menu items.
The recipes file has been moved from the main menu database to improve load speed and to eliminate the restriction of character limits.
You can type as much as you want for each recipe now, where previously, it was restricted to less than 5 lines of text.
