To force text onto a new line:
1. Navigate to Manager Menu > Menu Maintenance > Menu Items and Pricing.
2. Select a menu item.
3. Add a dash ("-") in the Button Name field to start text on a new line.
4. Save changes.
Note: Button names appear as standard menu item names on the back-office button layout screen. Log into the order screen to view the customized button names. Remember to save each section before exiting the screen or switching categories.
Can I make text appear on the next line instead of wrapping?
On the buttons, the menu item text automatically wraps to a new line when the line is full (based on the size of the button). However, if desired, you can force a break and start text on a new line. This allows extra flexibility in the appearance of text on the button.
How to force the text to a new line
Manager Menu > Menu Maintenance > Menu Items and Pricing
- Select a menu item
- Type in a Button Name, adding a dash ("-") when you want the text to start on a new line
- Save when finished
