Box Label: Box labels are the most commonly used type of labels in retail stores. They are usually printed on box-shaped adhesive paper and placed on the front of a product's box or packaging. Box labels contain product information such as the name, description, size or color, price, manufacturer information and barcodes. These labels are often used for quick identification by both customers and store personnel.
Barcode Label: Barcode labels are smaller than box labels and are generally made of plastic or vinyl. The barcode itself is encoded with information about a product which can be read by special scanners at retail checkouts. Barcodes also provide retailers with inventory control and they can be used to quickly identify price changes or discounts that have been applied to products.
You can generate and print shelf labels from your MicroSale system.
