If an employee forgot to clock in or clock out, clocked in under the wrong job, or did not clock in/out for the entire day, a manager will need to edit the time records.
Managers Menu -> Time Clock Functions
You must make the adjustments before the end of your payroll period (before the records are sent to the payroll provider).
Adjusting the clock in and/or clock out time
- Select the dropdown and choose the employee (displays alphabetically by last name)
- Select the employee
- All shifts for the current labor period are displayed (if you have months of data here, you need to close your time records!)
- To edit a time, select the appropriate field. An hour/minute window appears to edit the time
- Save Changes when completed
Clocking in with the wrong job title
- If an employee has more than one job title, and he/she accidentally clocked in under the wrong job name, select Delete Time then select anywhere in the row. The Time On - Time Out times show 00:00
- Select the next empty row to manually add a new record
- Select the first box under Job Name and choose the appropriate job title, then go through each box and select the appropriate date and time
- Select Save Changes when completed.

Adding a new entry
- Select the dropdown and choose the employee (displays alphabetically by last name)
- Select the employee
- Select the next empty row to manually add a new record
- Select the first box under Job Name and choose the appropriate job title, then go through each box and select the appropriate date and time
- Select Save Changes when completed
Adjusting declared tips (for payroll/accounting purposes only)
- Select the dropdown and choose the employee (displays alphabetically by last name)
- Select the appropriate box to enter in the tip amount. Please note that tips entered here are used for payroll/tax reasons only.
- Save and Exit when completed.
