⏱️ Clocking In & Starting Your Shift
- Tap In/Out on the register screen.
- Enter your login number or scan your fingerprint.
- Tap Punch In.
If prompted, select your job title for this shift. Each title may have a different pay rate.
✅ You’re now clocked in and ready to go!
Taking a Break
If breaks are tracked in your system:
- Tap Break Out to start your break.
- Tap Break In when returning.
Breaks are recorded as part of your shift history.
Clocking Out & Reviewing Your Hours
- Tap In/Out and enter your login.
- Tap Punch Out.
- Review your shift summary: Start time, End time, and Total Hours Worked.
- Tap I Agree to confirm, or I Do Not Agree if something looks incorrect.
Tips & Troubleshooting
Forgot to Clock Out?
If you didn’t clock out after your last shift, the system may block you from clocking in.
Ask a manager to close out the previous shift in the Back Office.
Don’t See Your Job Title?
Your job title determines your pay rate and permissions. If the wrong title appears, contact your manager to verify your setup.
“I Do Not Agree” on Clock Out
This option flags a time discrepancy for your manager. You’ll still be clocked out, but the shift will be marked for review.
Starting Cash Drawer or Audit
If your system requires cash drawer tracking:
- After clocking in, tap Start Audit.
- Enter your starting cash amount (your till float).
- Tap OK to confirm.
This step is used for drawer balancing at the end of your shift.
Still Can’t Clock In?
- Check if you’re already on the clock.
- Verify your login number or fingerprint is correct.
- Ask your manager to confirm your employee settings in the Back Office.
Quick Reminders
- ✅ Always use Break In/Out for mid-shift pauses instead of clocking out.
- ✅ You can only be clocked in under one job title at a time.
- ✅ Don’t forget to clock out — it may prevent you from starting your next shift.
