Instructions for Disabling TCP/IP and Enabling Named Pipes

  1. If possible, close/Settle Batch first
  2. Close the NETePay and the ePay Administrator
  3. Go to Control Panel > Administrative tools > Services > SQL Server(DATACAPINSTANCE) > Right Click and Stop the Service
  4. Go to SQL Server Configuration Manager > SQL Service Network Configuration > Protocols for DATACAPINSTANCE
  5. Disable TCP/IP and Enable Named Pipes
  6. Go back to Control Panel > Administrative tools > Services > Go to SQL Server(DATACAPINSTANCE) > Right Click and Start  the Service.
