"Can't find terminal, void failed" when voiding PAX test transaction

This error comes from First Data when trying to void a preauth.

Options:

  1. Move them over to another platform;  such as TSYS Front End and then point to your First data setup on the back end. With the TSYS front end you should have no problem utilizing the PreAuth feature and be able to do voids.
  2. The only other option is that you can continue using the First Data setup with the PreAuth feature. Since you cannot do voids with preauth, any transaction that needs to be reversed will require running a refund instead of a Void.
