Deleting and swapping modifiers (while still on the modifier screen):
- To erase a modifier, simply tap on it.
- Just ensure you're on the right modifier group screen.
- For instance, to remove 'Wedges' from 'Sides', you need to be in the 'Sides' tab, and not ‘Drinks’.
Note: If you delete a required side, you'll need to choose another.
Swapping modifiers from the virtual check
- Tap a modifier to swap it
- The corresponding modifier group is recalled
- Tap a new selection to change. Changes can only be made before sending the check to the kitchen.
Deleting Single Line Items
You can delete any line item, including menu items and modifiers, without deleting the entire order.
- Tap Delete Item then tap on the specific line item you want to remove
- Note: items can only be deleted before they're kitchen-bound
The line item is removed from the check (this function is disabled when items have already been sent to the kitchen).
Adding the Delete Item function to your system:
- Managers Menu > Register Setup > Terminal Configuration > Edit Order Screen Buttons > Add Delete Item to a button and Save > Exit
- Function buttons deploy to all terminals
