In full service, there are multiple ways to start an order. Please follow the steps below.
Starting an order from the table layout screen
- Select a table
- Enter the number in the party when prompted
- On the order screen, enter in the items and select Done
- You can access the check from the table layout or from the Server Menu
Starting an order without assigning it to a table
- Go to the Server Menu
- Select Start Table (upper left of screen) and enter in a number or name
- Enter the number in the party when prompted
- Place the order and select Done to keep the ticket open or Close Check to cash out the table
- You can access the check from the Server Menu
Starting an order and immediately closing it (Express Order)
In a scenario where you may have customers walking up to order quickly (possibly a drink while they wait or they forgot to order a ranch with a to-go order), an Express Order allows you to open and close a check immediately and bypasses the steps of starting a table.
You must immediately cash out an Express Order.
- Select Express Order
- Enter in the items and select Pay Order
What do the different colors on the tables indicate?
- Green > Table is Ready
- Yellow > Table has been seated
- Blue > Table is open
- Red > Time has expired for this tables order
- Purple > Table has been presented with their check
